João Valadas Coriel is in London this week for the American Bar Association’s International Law Section (ABA ILS) Fall Conference, taking place from 23 to 25 September 2026 at Mansion House.
The conference brings together more than 400 attorneys from leading law firms worldwide for three days of educational programming across seven substantive tracks — artificial intelligence, arbitration, finance, human rights, litigation, privacy and trade — alongside keynote sessions and cultural events in the City of London.
João serves as Vice-Chair of the ABA ILS’s International Private Client Committee, and gatherings of this kind bring together advisors from across jurisdictions who work with the same kind of clients and the same kind of cross-border questions.
