João Valadas Coriel will attend the Annual International Private Client Tax Conference, organised by the International Bar Association (IBA) and presented by the IBA Private Client Tax Committee, with the support of the IBA Family Law Committee.
The conference will take place from 1–3 March at the Raffles OWO in London and will bring together leading practitioners to discuss the evolving challenges faced by private clients globally.
This year’s programme addresses key topics shaping the private wealth landscape, including:
- The interaction between family offices, legal advisors, banking and investment professionals
- Civil law structures operating within common law jurisdictions
- Artificial Intelligence in private client practice
- Cross-border estate planning strategies
- Global mobility and digital nomad taxation
- The ageing high-net-worth client and vulnerability concerns
- Emerging and established planning jurisdictions
The conference reflects the increasing complexity of private wealth structuring, succession planning and international mobility — areas in which João has been actively expanding his focus and practice.
VCA remains committed to contributing to international dialogue on private client matters and strengthening cross-border collaboration within the global legal community.
