João Valadas Coriel, Managing Partner of VCA, is attending the ABA (American Bar Association) International Law Section Annual Conference, in New York, from today until May 4.

Back together in New York after 6 years, this conference will explore what international lawyers can do to revert polarization and strengthen civility and collaboration in their communities, highlight the importance of collegiality, empathy, good will and cooperation, and seek philosophical, legal, cultural and policy-related common grounds that can bridge some of their differences and help bring them back together.

The ABA was founded in 1878 on a commitment to set the legal and ethical foundation for the American nation. Today, it exists as a membership organization and stands committed to its mission of defending liberty and pursuing justice.
The ABA International Law Section is the leader in the development of policy in the international arena, the promotion of the rule of law and the education of international law practitioners.
