Luís José Maria is a Tax Consultant in VCA’s Private Wealth & Tax Department, having joined the firm in March 2026.
Luís brings several years of experience in corporate and international taxation, having previously worked at leading law firms including Morais Leitão, Vieira de Almeida (VdA), and RFF Lawyers.
Throughout his career, Luís has advised private clients and corporate groups on domestic and cross-border tax matters, with particular focus on international tax structuring and complex advisory mandates.
His professional background also includes experience across African Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions (PALOP), reinforcing his exposure to international and multi-jurisdictional contexts. Luís combines strong technical expertise with a pragmatic and commercially aware approach, supporting clients in navigating increasingly sophisticated tax environments.
In parallel with his legal practice, he has pursued advanced and executive programmes in banking law, taxation, and luxury management, reflecting a multidisciplinary perspective that is particularly relevant in private wealth advisory.
