Maria Marques Rocha joined VCA in June 2026 as an Associate in the Real Estate and Corporate departments, where she advises clients on corporate transactions and real estate matters, combining solid technical grounding with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
Before joining VCA, Maria was at FB&Associados, where she developed her practice across corporate, real estate, civil, and labour matters. Her earlier career was built at Mouteira Guerreiro, Rosa Amaral & Associados, where she joined as a trainee and progressed to a qualified lawyer in the litigation and labour department — an experience that gave her a broad legal foundation she now brings to her real estate and corporate practice.
Maria holds a law degree and the curricular component of a master’s degree in legal and forensic sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. She is currently completing a postgraduate qualification in Labour Law at IDET – Instituto de Direito das Empresas e do Trabalho.
Maria’s practice at VCA focuses on real estate and corporate law. She is the author of “O CIRE e os seus Processos Especiais”, published in Processos e Procedimentos Especiais Autónomos (Petrony Editora, April 2022), and has participated in national and international conferences on insolvency, contract law, and civil procedure.
