Mónica de Matos joined VCA in March 2026 and is part of the firm’s Immigration department, where she supports the team in assisting clients with Golden Visa applications.
Mónica holds a Law Degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Law and Legal Practice, specialising in Forensic Legal Sciences, also at the University of Lisbon. In parallel, she is completing a postgraduate programme in Law and Artificial Intelligence at NOVA School of Law, reflecting a strong commitment to academic development and emerging legal fields.
Mónica began her professional path while still a student, gaining experience across various sectors before focusing on the legal field. She completed a legal internship at ANACOM, within the Enforcement Department, where she had contact with regulatory and sanctioning procedures.
