Vasco Torres joined VCA in early 2025 as a Trainee and is now a Junior Associate in the Tax department. He supports the team in advising clients on national and cross-border tax matters, with a growing focus on areas at the intersection of real estate and taxation.
His time at VCA began in the Immigration department, where he assisted clients throughout their relocation processes to Portugal — giving him a solid grounding in client-facing advisory work from the outset. He has since moved to the Tax team, a transition that aligns naturally with his academic background and postgraduate training in Tax Law. Before joining the firm, Vasco gained initial experience across Civil, Labour, and Commercial Law.
Vasco holds a Law degree from Universidade Lusófona and has complemented his academic training with postgraduate studies in Real Estate Law and Tax Law, both at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The combination reflects an interest in the practical and technical dimensions of tax law — a focus he continues to develop within the firm.
